While on our way to Santa Cruz for a big singlespeed gathering put on by
singlespeed.net and MTBR, we took a little detour into Santa Barbara to do the Tunnel trail.
These are shots taken of our journey to the 4 miles of singletrack bliss.
It was my first time on the trail, and interestingly I rode the last half of it without
a seat or seatpost. One of the other riders broke his seatpost towards the beginning of the
descent and couldn't ride his bike that way, so I lent him my nice titanium Moots post to
keep him going. The bastid then liked the post so much that I had a lot of trouble
getting it back from him later!
Anyways... we had a hoot and a few of us were able to clean all the technical sections.
This is definitely one trail I'll be making a roadtrip back to Santa Barbara for!
