Yeeha - what a blast! This trail is definitely a must-do if you're anywhere within
the Southern California locale. If your riding skills aren't finely honed, bring along
some pads to avoid injury! ;-)
Warrior's Society Toad Festival

This is one of the two annual events hosted by the Warrior's Society in the Cleveland
National Forest. Plenty of scenic trails, camaraderie, and prizes are sure to make
this to one of the most fun events you'll attend.
"A Matt Chester Re-Ute-ion"

I had a chance to stop by Matt Chester's digs while on a roadtrip and this is my tale of the visit. Check out the
writeup to see pics of his personal Indie Rock cyclocross bike. Matt flies on that thing... You'd never know that
it had skinny wheels from the way he rides it.
Sea Otter Classic - Singlespeeders Galore!

This event was spectacularly large and had so many things to see and do that I'm bummed to have only been there
for two days. It seems as if everyone was there - it was great to meet many new faces as well as run into old friends.
Speaking of which, a big congrats to my geared pals Drew and Jeff for both taking the yellow jersey in your classes!
Dang, no wonder I'm always huffing and puffing when I try to keep up with you guys.
SART - Riverbed Road Ride

Warning: Explicit content - Road & Gears!!!!
With most of the trails muddy, riding was pretty much limited on-road. So - here it is, I ride my geared road
bike with some buddies along the Santa Ana River Trail riverbed and capture a few scenic shots along the way. Hope you appreciate the
very last shot as I had to ride my road bike with 20c tires down the riverbed to get the picture, then ride back UP the
dang thing, which is more challenging than you could imagine.
Riding Silicon Valley

Singlespeeding in NorCal? If so you might want to hook up with DAS and the gang for an excursion.
Check out this writeup by DAS of his recent lunchtime ride in the beautiful Silicon Valley area.
Gabrieleno In The Winter, Part II

Gabrieleno was so enjoyable that I took my Matt Chester singlespeed and went back there
for further adventures. This time around I tried to get pics of some scenery that I missed
last weekend. Check out the cool but scary shots I took while downhilling no-handed on
a short stretch that was pavement!

Gain a vertical mile in elevation; cross 35 streams and a 50-foot waterfall; navigate
treacherous switchbacks; trudge through foot-deep snow; and blast down phenomenally scenic
singletrack. That's a quick overview of Gabrieleno in the Winter. If that sounds like it's
the sort of thing you might enjoy then you desperately need to ride this loop.
Chasing Snow UP Joplin Trail

The plan was to do a nice ride to Old Camp then back down through the Luge. However, I saw
snow on some of the other peaks and decided that I must ride till I could make a snowball.
The Chino Hills Experience, Part I

Two days after my doctor pulls the packing material out from inside my nose, I anxiously take out
my singlespeed cyclocross bike to hit the trails at Chino Hills State Park. This was a really enjoyable
ride, ignoring one little mishap...
Riding Aliso Woods, Part I

This is the first of probably many pictorial segments for the Aliso Creek / Woods Canyon riding area.
Home turf for the Laguna RADS, the number and variety of trails there are just amazing.
Hey fellow non-US singlespeeders - It'd be awesome if you could email me some pics of you riding your local trails for
presentation on this site. I've seen plenty of US stuff, but would dig seeing what's out there in the rest of the world.
